Statement of Faith

We Believe in one God existing eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having the same nature and attributes and are worth of the same homage, confidence and obedience. (Matt. 3:16,17; 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)

We Believe that both the Old and New Testaments constitute the divinely inspired Word of God, and understand the whole Bible to be inspired in the sense that holy men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of Scripture. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and became man without ceasing to be God, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:30-35)

We Believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort and seal those who believer in Jesus Christ. (John 16:13-14)

We Believe that man created in the image of God, because of sin became totally depraved in that of himself he is unable to remedy his lost condition. (Gen 1:26, 27, Rom 5:12, Heb 7:26, 1 Tim 2:5,6)

We Believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose atoning blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelations 20:11-15)

We Believe in water baptism of believers, symbolizing the believer’s union in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Matt 28:19, Rom 6:3-5)

Regeneration is a creative work of the Holy Spirit by which a person is born again and receives spiritual life. (Ephesians 2:1, 6, 2 Cor 5:17)

Justification is a judicial act of God by which the sinner is declared righteous solely on the basis of their acceptance of Christ as Saviour. (Romans 3:24, 5:1)

We Believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper, commemorating the sacrifice of our Savior for all mankind. (Mark 14:22-25, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

We Believe the life of the believer is to be separated from the world by consistent conduct before God and man, and is to be in the world as life-giving light. (Hebrews 12:14, Romans 6:19-22)

We Believe in the personal and visible and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 14:10–12; 2 Corinthians 5:10)

We Believe in eternal punishment for the lost in Hell, and eternal bliss for the redeemed in Heaven.(Matt 25:41, Rev 20:10,15)
